Squire Patton Boggs has acted for the shareholders of Census Commodity Data on the purchase of the company by Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC (LON:ERM).
A team led by Corporate partner Mark Yeo in London, involving associates Frankie Cooke, William Buchanan and Isabelle Sadler, advised the shareholders of Census Commodity Data.
Through its brand AgriCensus, Census Commodity Data serves as a price reporting agency, providing price assessments on the grain, oilseeds and biofuels industries. Founded in 2017, AgriCensus provides more than 200 price assessments on these global agricultural commodity markets, supplemented by high-quality market news and intelligence. Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC, listed on the London Stock Exchange and a member of the FTSE 250 share index, is an international information services provider of essential information to global and specialist markets. With the acquisition, Euromoney expands its price reporting business Fastmarkets.
