Mohammed has significant experience in Qatar Law and Ministerial Practice, advising regional and international clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters, joint ventures and general corporate counseling. Mohammed’s practice also covers regulatory and compliance issues.

    Mohammed also has experience in employment, intellectual property (licensing and infringement matters) and immigration matters.

    Mohammed’s experience extends to dispute resolution, having worked on complex litigation matters in Qatar. He has considerable practical experience, which enables him to provide straightforward, practical and legal advice to international and local clients in wide range of matters, including corporate matters, litigation, licensing and compliance, immigration matters and labour disputes.

    Mohammed is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association and prior to joining the firm, Mohammed worked as a government relations manager for Dareen International Co., a subsidiary of Al-Shaya global corporation, working in the fields of retail, food and beverages, as well as in Qatar’s pharmaceutical industry.

    • Advising various global companies entering the Qatar market on establishment of representative trade offices, branch offices, joint ventures and mergers, such as an Italian global helicopter manufacturer.
    • Assisting in providing counsel and legal advice on employment and litigation matters pertaining to international universities in the Qatar Foundation.
    • Advising foreign companies on setting up large-scale industrial projects in Qatar, as well as major global telecommunication and web-based companies on licensing and compliance in the Middle East.
    • Assisting in providing legal advice on executive compensation and employee benefit matters involving multinational companies and Qatari companies, such as Qatar Airways.
    • Advising global companies executing contracts for government entities in Qatar on licensing, compliance and immigration matters, such as Cyclomedical Applications Group.
    • Advised a global energy company on a tender for the construction and operation of a power and desalination plant as a PPP project.
    • Representing global companies in various disputes in Qatar.
