Bishr Ajlouni is an associate in our global Financial Services Practice. He provides advice and legal services to banks and other financial institutions, both in the US and abroad, on a variety of matters. These matters include offering financial services to clients, investment banking, debt finance, mergers and acquisitions, and banking sanctions, among other matters.

    Having practiced banking law in the Middle East region before obtaining his J.D. and joining Squire Patton Boggs, Bishr has a distinct background that enables him to better serve clients and understand their needs and concerns.

    • Worked as the general counsel of a subsidiary of one of the leading banks in Lebanon, headquartered in Beirut with subsidiaries and affiliates in France, Switzerland, Syria and Iraq, in addition to its broad network of branches in Lebanon.
    • Worked as the general counsel of an industrial conglomerate, where he provided legal advice to enterprises in Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Iraq, UAE and Jordan. He also supervised the conglomerate’s mergers and acquisitions.
