Chloe Arnold is an associate in our Real Estate Litigation team and has experience advising on a wide range of property-related disputes.

    Chloe specialises in contentious property matters and regularly advises stakeholders in relation to landlord and tenant asset management disputes relating to shopping centres, industrial estates, office premises, airports and hotels. In particular, Chloe has advised on business lease renewals and terminations, breaches of covenant, dilapidations, property notices, forfeiture, landlord and tenant insolvency, service charge disputes and the recovery and possession of commercial premises.

    In addition to her commercial experience, Chloe has also advised landlords, residents' management companies and tenants on disputes relating to residential property.

    • Acting for a number of institutional landlords and funds in relation to contentious asset management matters across nationwide portfolios.
    • Acting for landlord clients in business lease renewal proceedings and successfully resisting tenants' proposals for the inclusion of various tenant concessions in renewal leases.
    • Devising and implementing a vacant possession strategy facilitating the redevelopment of a major UK airport.
    • Acting for a landlord client in obtaining a court order forcing the completion of a high-value renewal lease under section 36 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
    • Advising various landlord clients in relation to a number of retail and restaurant CVAs.
    • Advising a number of residential landlords on enforcement for rent and service charge arrears and acting on behalf of landlord clients in possession proceedings in the County Court.
