Emily Binnie is an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group who is based in the Atlanta office.

After graduating from law school, Emily served as a staff attorney for the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. While there, she focused her appellate practice on civil rights, employment law, immigration, sentencing and direct criminal appeals, and habeas corpus. Prior to joining the firm, Emily served as a law clerk for the Honorable Margaret B. Seymour at the US District Court for the District of South Carolina.

Emily earned her Juris Doctorate from the Florida University College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. While attending law school, she was a judicial extern to the Honorable Jay P. Cohen at the Florida Fifth District Court of Appeal. She also served in the office of Florida State Sen. Lauren Book as a legal intern. Emily gained versatile experience throughout law school as a law clerk for regional firms in Florida.

Before attending law school, Emily worked as a Florida registered paralegal for boutique family law firms.
