Michal Blahovec focuses his practice on general corporate, M&A, competition, pharmaceutical and energy law.

    Michal’s experience includes advising on all aspects of general corporate and commercial matters for various domestic and foreign legal entities.

    He graduated from the Faculty of Law, Trnava University in Trnava, in 2011. In 2015, Michal successfully completed a Doctor of Law examination at the Faculty of Law, Trnava University in Trnava, where he received the juris doctor degree. Subsequently, in 2017 he expanded his knowledge and expertise to EU competition law and regulated markets at the Amsterdam Law School, where he received his LL.M.

    Prior to joining the firm, Michal worked as a senior court clerk at District Court in Bratislava. He provided direct assistance to a judge by preparing draft versions of decisions, conducting research on legal issues and processing delegated judicial procedures.

    Previously, Michal worked for a law firm in the Slovak Republic, where he drafted and reviewed legal documents, provided legal opinions, elaborated legal analyses and communicated with public authorities.

    Michal is a registered legal trainee with the Slovak Bar Association.

    • Advising a prominent customer management company on various corporate and commercial matters.
    • Advising a major Czech developer in connection with the development, operation and financing of a significant shopping center in the northern part of the Czech Republic in connection with the complete renegotiation of leases.
