Jenny Broderick is a partner in the Leeds office. Jenny’s practice comprises a range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution work, both domestic and international.

Jenny has experience of representing clients from a variety of industry sectors, including media, financial services, oil and gas, engineering, public, manufacturing and retail.

Jenny has a particular interest in public procurement law and public contract disputes. In addition to her contentious work, she advises clients on public procurement risk and solutions, and acts for both contracting authorities and public sector suppliers.

Jenny has an LL.M. in Public Procurement Law & Policy, is an associate member of the Procurement Law Academic Network and is a member of the Procurement Lawyers Association.

Jenny is also a member of the firm’s reputation management practice.

  • Representing Russian and Ukrainian claimants in a US$385 million LCIA arbitration concerning the ownership of an industrial group operating in Central Asia.
  • Defending a Swiss banking client in a multiparty, cross-border US$800 million fraud claim.
  • Advising the former owners of a professional services firm on a £36 million breach of warranty claim.
  • Representing a global manufacturer in relation to a breach of warranty claim under a share purchase agreement for the acquisition of manufacturing business.
  • Advising the former owners of a high street retailer in relation to an alleged breach of warranty under a £150 million share purchase agreement.
  • Representing various UK-based companies in healthcare, engineering and real estate sectors in claims for breach of contract, breach of confidence and related economic torts, and obtaining injunctions to protect confidential information and enforce restrictive covenants.
  • Advising UK tech business in relation to claims against former business partners and defending an unfair prejudice petition.
