Christian Brundell is a senior associate in the Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets Practice. Christian is a dual-licensed lawyer, admitted to practise both in England and Wales and in the US.

Christian is sector agnostic and often works with businesses operating on a global scale. However, he has a specific interest in cross-border matters involving the transatlantic data corridor with much of his work involving advising US-based clients that are looking to establish or extend operations in the UK, and vice versa. Christian has particular experience in the financial services sector, owing to his time spent as in-house legal counsel at a leading midmarket private equity house.

  • Advising an iconic Indian-based brand of vintage motorcycles in relation to its data privacy regime, including in relation to website compliance, direct electronic marketing and data subject requests.
  • Advising a US-based private equity house in relation to its subscription arrangements with UK investors, including privacy notices and data sharing arrangements.
  • Advising a well-known UK consumer retailer in relation to website integration of third-party revolving credit finance solutions.
  • Advising a popular California-based restaurant chain in relation to digital payment and platform delivery solutions, including with respect to data processing and international data transfer agreements.
  • Advising Audax-owned Emplifi on its acquisition of live commercial software provider Go Instore.
