Lauren Brown is an associate in the International Trade Practice in the Washington DC office.

    Prior to law school, Lauren worked in international firms in both the private and public sectors, including as an analyst for the US Department of State and US Department of Defense in the Washington DC area. She has experience in export control compliance, including matters under the Export Administration Regulations and International Traffic in Arms Regulations, as well as the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. Lauren also works on government contract issues for the defense industry, government services, information technology, telecommunications, cybersecurity and high-tech foreign and domestic clients at the federal, state and local levels concerning compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense FAR Supplement and other agency supplements, and General Services Administration multiple-award schedule contracting matters.
