    His areas of expertise include banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity/venture capital investments, company start-ups, infrastructure projects, and formation and operation of joint ventures.

    • Representing private equity funds on acquisitions of shares in various companies throughout Asia.
    • Advised start-ups in relation to equity and hybrid investments from private equity and venture capital investors.
    • Advised listed companies in relation to joint venture arrangements and exits in Saudi Arabia.
    • Represented a conglomerate in relation to its acquisition of pre-IPO tech shares in the US.
    • Represented a Dutch company in relation to its joint venture to own and operate tank farms in South Korea.
    • Advised a Korean bank in the due diligence of a waste to energy power plant project in Sri Lanka.
    • Advised a Singapore company on the development of a gas-fired power plant in Myanmar.
    • Advised on a more than RM1 billion dual currency project financing of an independent deepwater petroleum terminal at Pengerrang, Johor, Malaysia.
    • Advised Leighton/Thiess in their participation in the US$400 million financing of the Bumi Resources acquisition of PT Kaltim Prima Coal.
    • Advised a syndicate of investment banks on a syndicated note facility to fund a bankable feasibility study for the Lumwana mining project in the Republic of Zambia.
    • Advised Rothschild on a cash facility and associated hedging facilities to fund the partial payment for the acquisition of the Tasaist gold project in Mauritania.
