Véronique Collin is a partner based in our Paris office. She has over 25 years of banking and finance experience, mainly advising financial institutions, and spent almost 20 years at a Magic Circle firm.

    Véronique advises French and foreign credit institutions, arrangers, corporates, investment funds and guarantors. Her multinational and cross-border transactional expertise covers the entire spectrum of issues, including asset and structured finance, securitization, distressed debt, real estate financing and restructurings. 

    Véronique has played a vital role in training, coaching and mentoring members of her team, as well as providing training on a range of banking and finance issues for her clients.

    • Financing the acquisition of a portfolio of warehouses (logistics) for a US fund.
    • Advising a US bank on the restructuring of a real estate finance portfolio (French aspects) – debt buy-back – advising at a later stage on the disposal of the asset and the liquidation of the structure.
    • Advising a Spanish bank on conciliation proceedings related to an on-going construction program in Paris.
    • Advising a company with numerous technical centers (medical) on the refinancing of the existing debt and the financing of further acquisitions.
    • Advising a Dutch bank in relation to the issue of bonds by a company in the food sector.
    • Advising a French asset management company on the securitization (Fonds de Prêt à l’Economie) of a Dutch loan in the real-estate sector.
    • Advising a Dutch bank in relation to international factoring programs.
    • Advising a US-based credit institution on numerous pan-European factoring programs.
    • French tax lease for a major Middle Eastern airline company (3 Airbus A340-600).
    • Assisting an English receiver on the repossessing of an aircraft prior to insolvency proceedings.
    • Advising on the securitization of the deferred purchase price of an Italian auto-loan receivables securitization (French aspects – coordination of the Italian team) – (€1.1 billion) – FCC Rome Alliance Funding.
    • Advising on the monetization of trade receivables for a major French train manufacturer in relation to high-speed train equipment purchased by US, UK and French railway companies.
    • Advising on a pan-European factoring program (standardization of the documentation) for a major international bank.
    • Regularly advising on the securitization of German auto-loan portfolios for a major French car manufacturer – ECB eligibility and PCS label.
