Carly Corbett-Burns is a senior associate in the Sydney Labour & Employment Practice Group and advises on all aspects of day-to-day employment issues, including contract and exit negotiations, performance management and workplace investigations into bullying, harassment and discrimination. Carly also regularly advises on issues arising from mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructures.

    • Reaching a successful settlement for a marketing client in the enforcement of post-employment restraints and the protection of its confidential information.
    • Acting on behalf of clients in the financial services and construction industries in the negotiation of enterprise agreements.
    • Advising clients during transfers of business and restructures.
    • Representing clients before the Fair Work Commission in unfair dismissals and general protection claims.
    • Preparing employment and contractor agreements.
    • Creating and advising on the enforcement of workplace policies including disciplinary, grievance, WH&S, anti-discrimination and bullying.
    • Providing training to workforces including management on discrimination and harassment.
