Jill Davidson’s practice focuses on general debt finance and sophisticated leasing transactions. In addition to advising on credit facilities and acquisition finance opportunities, Jill has particular expertise in traditional equipment finance and innovative and complex structures in various sectors including aircraft finance, transportation and energy.

    • Acting for the equipment finance subsidiary of a US-based middle-market bank leasing subsidiary to create all standard transaction documentation for all types of equipment leases, with periodic reviews and upgrades as their business expanded into new products and standard transaction size has increased.
    • Representing the agent in a secured multi-currency syndicated credit facility. 
    • Advising a bank based in France on the securitization of receivables for a global steel producer.
    • Representing Orhan Holding A.S. in its successful bid and subsequent stock and asset purchase of a global hose and tube manufacturing business from Dana Corporation (then in bankruptcy). 
    • Advising Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français in the restructuring of Eurostar from an unincorporated joint venture into a stand-alone entity including advice on the subleasing of high-speed rail trains already subject to New York law governed finance leases.
    • Representing an energy company in Denmark on a bid for the network assets of an energy company in the Netherlands.
    • Restructuring or terminating more than 30 New York law governed cross-border tax structured finance leases for European-based lessees for assets including telecommunications equipment, rail equipment, energy plants, facilities, ticketing systems and gas networks.
    • Acting for a Midwestern bank doing its first true lease on a US$10 million aircraft.
    • Following the merger of two vendors in the semiconductor industry, creation of standardized forms to be used in all customer transactions worldwide.
