Chelsea Dease is a member of the Litigation Practice in the Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on representing clients in complex civil litigation and large-scale class actions.

    Chelsea has experience in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings and pleading attacks, discovery and related motion practice, and dispositive motions and other pre-trial motion practice.

    Prior to joining the firm, Chelsea represented pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers in product liability cases, as well as hospitals and medical professionals in professional liability cases. She helped advise these companies on regulatory, compliance and risk management matters, including adverse event reporting and patient inquiries/claims. Chelsea is an active member of her community and maintains a pro bono practice grounded in her Spanish fluency.

    • Defend one of the largest multinational automotive corporations in class action litigation.
    • Defend a public insurance company in simultaneously ongoing federal and state court litigation.
    • Represent clients initiating breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty claims.
    • Defended one of Georgia’s largest hospital systems in medical malpractice litigation.
    • Defended a multinational manufacturer of medical devices in insulin pump litigation.
    • Defended a multinational pharmaceutical company in chemotherapy drug treatment litigation, including an MDL pending in the Eastern District of Louisiana, as well as state court actions in Delaware, New Jersey and Mississippi.
    • Represented a leading multinational manufacturing company in pre-suit product liability claims, including filing lawsuits involving injuries allegedly caused by medical and non-medical devices.
