Chelsea M. Dease is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice in our Atlanta office. Her experience extends to both state and federal courts, including multidistrict litigation and consolidated state court litigation. Chelsea represents pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers in product liability cases, as well as hospitals and medical professionals in professional liability cases. She helps advise these companies on regulatory, compliance and risk management matters, including adverse event reporting and patient inquiries/claims. Chelsea is active in her community and maintains a pro bono practice that focuses on her Spanish fluency and background in criminal justice.

    • Defended one of Georgia’s largest hospital systems in medical malpractice litigation.
    • Defended a multinational manufacturer of medical devices in insulin pump litigation.
    • Defended a multinational pharmaceutical company in chemotherapy drug treatment litigation, including an MDL pending in the Eastern District of Louisiana, as well as state court actions in Delaware, New Jersey and Mississippi.
    • Represented a leading multinational manufacturing company in pre-suit product liability claims, including filing lawsuits involving injuries allegedly caused by medical and non-medical devices.
