Michael DiCato is a registered patent attorney, counseling clients regarding patent portfolio development and implementation of patent strategies. Michael’s practice focuses on IP development and protection, IP portfolio management, litigation support, and preparation of infringement and invalidity opinions.

    Michael has been practicing as a patent attorney for five years, both as an in-house attorney at IBM and in private practice. While at IBM, Michael served as a member of IBM’s Watson focus group and collaborated closely with research teams on next-generation transistor technology. In private practice, Michael has counseled companies ranging from small startups to large multinational corporations. Michael collaborates closely with clients to implement IP strategies aligned with business goals.
