Tania is an associate in our International Trade team and is based in our Madrid and Brussels offices. She has more than six years of experience as a qualified lawyer, with a focus on internationalization. She has been active in the fields of foreign direct investment and international commerce, international arbitration, project finance, investment protection, FinTech and art.
Tania has co-authored a Handbook on International Sanctions, which is intended to provide a first guide for companies and in-house counsel in navigating the complex regulatory framework of international sanctions. She also writes articles for the Spanish business and legal press Expansión.
Tania holds a degree in law from the University of Navarra, where she also minored in Anglo-American law, international business law and global law. She has been a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School and has postgraduate studies in philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid.
She is a professor of legal aspects of blockchain at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles in Madrid.
