Antonio Fernández-Rodríguez

Antonio Fernández-Rodriguez is a director in the Real Estate Practice, based in our Madrid office. He has five years of experience as a corporate and real estate lawyer.
His real estate practice focuses on advising real estate investment, particularly the purchase and sale of real estate assets and sale and lease back operations, including the financing process of these operations, lease agreements acting for both landlords and tenants and due diligence processes.
Antonio’s corporate work includes advising on and documenting all kinds of company resolutions, mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, international corporate and commercial contracts, incorporation of new companies and winding-up processes, and purchase and sale of companies, including those companies whose main assets are real estate.
- Advising on the purchase and sale of seven shopping centers and two petrol stations for a large Spanish retail distribution group.
- Advising on the acquisition of real estate assets in “lieu of payment” or with debt relief for a Spanish credit entity.
- Advising on the acquisition by a Japanese group of Spain-based hotels.
- Advising on the financing process of one of the largest commercial complex in Europe.
- Advising an insurance group regarding the insurance of the sale and purchase agreement of a Spain-based shopping center.
- Advising on the way of granting and securing public loans through a non-profit organization.
- Advising on the financial and corporate restructuring of both national and international groups.
