Matthew Flanagan is an associate in the Corporate Practice based in our Manchester office. He advises on national and international transactions, and specialises in mergers and acquisition, and private equity investments, as well as joint ventures, corporate reorganisations, corporate governance and employee ownership trusts.

    Matthew also advises private equity investors, corporates and entrepreneurs, as well as individuals across a range of sectors in the local, national and international markets.

    Matthew is the chair of the Manchester Young Solicitors Group, a social and professional network for qualified solicitors under 10 years’ PQE. In addition, Matthew sits on the Manchester Law Society Council in his capacity as the chair of the Manchester Young Solicitors Group.

    • Acting for a leading UK community pharmacy business in relation to its various acquisitions and disposals, as well as its financing and internal structuring arrangements.

    • Acting for a science research company in relation to its listing on AIM.
    • Acting for the shareholders of three different UK-based companies in relation to the transition of becoming employee owned.
