Callie Fuselier assists clients in navigating the US Congress, congressional procedures and a variety of public policy issues. She works closely with the co-chairmen of the firm’s Public Policy Practice, former US Senator John Breaux (D-LA) and former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R-MS).

    During her seven years on Capitol Hill, working for former Senator John Breaux and former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Callie worked with federal and state lawmakers on a wide range of legislative and regulatory matters. She developed key relationships and interacted closely with both Democratic and Republican leadership staff.

    Callie gained extensive knowledge of the legislative process and established strong congressional and executive branch relationships by working in the US Congress; The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), as Deputy Chief of Staff to former Commissioner Fred Hatfield; and The Breaux Lott Leadership Group (BLLG), where she was a founding member and senior advisor.

    Callie is involved with the operation and management of federal clients, ensuring their legislative priorities are heard and conveyed through Congress. She continues to foster her strong relationships with congressional and state government colleagues in Washington DC and Louisiana.
