Christina Georgiou joined the Labor & Employment team in the Birmingham office in March 2017, following completion of her training contract with us. Prior to starting her training contract, Christina worked in the Birmingham Pensions team as a paralegal, where she experienced a range of aspects of occupational pension plans.

    Christina advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Her experience includes advising businesses on day-to-day employment issues; drafting and reviewing settlement agreements, as well as service agreements and secondment agreements; employment tribunal litigation; reviewing and drafting employee handbooks and policies; and corporate support work.

    Christina is involved in a variety of pro bono activities. She advises at the Birmingham Legal Advice Clinic, partakes in the office’s “Right to Read” initiative and is heavily involved with the Birmingham office charity committee. Christina also acts as a mentor for students looking to follow a career in law.

    Christina can speak Spanish at an intermediate level and is currently undergoing further Spanish lessons.
