Rebecca is part of the firm’s Litigation team. She has experience of handling various types of litigation, including professional negligence claims, contract disputes, partnership disputes and commercial debt claims. Rebecca has experience of working for a wide range of clients, from large insurers and lenders through to local businesses and individuals.

    • Successfully defending a claim for breach of restrictive covenants brought against a number of independent financial advisors, which went to a speedy trial at the High Court.
    • Managing a team recruited to complete a high-value adjudication project for a large national business.
    • Resolving a claim against a pension scheme administrator involving a fee dispute and allegations of negligence.
    • Acting for a local business bringing a professional negligence claim against its insurance broker for failure to advise adequately on cover.
    • Resolving a claim brought by a local manufacturer involving unpaid commercial debts and alleged faulty goods.
    • Successfully defending a professional negligence claim brought against a solicitor, at a multi-day trial.
    • Acting for an insurance broker and their insurer facing a £3.5 million professional negligence claim.
