Donald Hughes practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures, corporate finance and corporate governance. He has extensive experience representing both publicly traded and privately held entities in a number of matters, including going private transactions, corporate reorganizations, acquisitions, divestitures and stock purchases, licensing and private equity transactions. Additionally, Don has consulted and spoken on issues such as mergers and acquisitions, international licensing, corporate governance and executive compensation.

    Don, a partner in the Global Corporate Practice based in Columbus, Ohio, has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America since 2013. He has also been named a Rising Star by Ohio Super Lawyers in 2005, 2006 and 2007, a distinction that recognizes the top 2.5% of Ohio lawyers under the age of 40 or those in practice for 10 years or less.
