Batoul Husain is a litigator who focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, cross-border litigation, government and internal corporate investigations, white-collar criminal defense and regulatory compliance.

Batoul has advised and represented a wide array of clients, including foreign governments, financial service institutions, insurance carriers, venture capital firms, technology companies and senior executives.

Previously, Batoul served as a senior law clerk to the Honorable Thomas Varlan of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee before joining an international law firm as an associate. Most recently, she practiced complex litigation and dispute resolution for a New York-based BigLaw firm.

During law school, Batoul received the Scholastic Excellence Award for legal writing, served as an editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, and interned with Americans for Immigrant Justice. Prior to law school, Batoul worked as a legal assistant with the US Department of Justice.
