John Hayward is based in the London office of Squire Patton Boggs and is a highly experienced banking and finance lawyer. He is a recognized acquisition and leveraged finance expert. His expertise also extends to general bank lending, development finance and real estate finance.

    John has significant experience acting for lenders, private equity houses and corporate borrowers.

    John has been recognized by both Chambers and The Legal 500 as a banking and finance expert, in particular, in relation to acquisition finance. In the 2010 edition of Chambers UK, it was noted that, “John impresses clients with the client focus, responsiveness, accuracy and quality of guidance.” In previous years, both directories have remarked that, “John has worked out how to build up a relationship with clients that matter” and who are “impressed by his professionalism.” John continues to be a “recommended” lawyer, both for investment grade/syndicated debt and for acquisition finance, in the current edition of The Legal 500.
