Evelyne Kerkdijk is an associate in our Belgian Corporate Practice.

    Evelyne advises a wide range of Belgian and international corporate clients on all aspects of corporate law, including M&A, private equity and general commercial matters. Her work also includes Belgian and cross-border transactions.

    Prior to joining the firm, Evelyne was an intern at the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the United Nations and the World Trade Organization.

    • Assisting with the acquisition of Ecuphar NV, a Belgian company, which has operations in Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. The acquisition constituted a reverse takeover of Animalcare. To help fund the cash element, Animalcare undertook a placing with a value of £30 million.
    • Acting for Low & Bonar on the sale of their agro-textiles business to IFG Exelto. The disposal will comprise the sale of the main assets of the agro-textiles business in both Europe and the US, including Low & Bonar’s factory in Lokeren, Belgium, and its inventory.
    • Assisting the Belgian branch of an international fuel company in an acquisition process.
    • Advising a number of Belgian companies on their corporate housekeeping.
    • Assisting a Belgian industrial company in a divestment of a business in an asset transfer deal.
    • Assisting an international group on the Belgian aspects of a multijurisdictional acquisition financing.
    • Assisting various Belgian international non-profit associations and foundations with their incorporation process.
    • Assisting Belgian and international non-profit associations with the transfer of their registered offices abroad or to Belgium.
    • Assisting various clients with the constitution and dissolution and liquidation of their Belgian branch.
