Harrison Kerr is an associate in the Real Estate Practice Group, based in Perth.

Harrison advises on a range of real estate transactions, including property acquisitions and sales, as well as commercial and retail leases. He also assists clients from the hospitality and leisure sector on operational hotel management agreements.

Harrison also has experience assisting on regulatory matters and commercial litigation.

  • Undertaking due diligence in relation to the AU$600 million sale of the agribusiness division of a global asset management firm to Canadian interests.
  • Assisting a private equity client in negotiating with a leading global hospitality group on the management agreement for a hotel in Spain.
  • Assisting with the management agreement for a luxury branded hotel in Saudi Arabia.
  • Undertaking due diligence in relation to the prospective acquisition of rural property by a commercial property developer.
  • Managing the registration of leases and assignments between lessees for leasehold properties within the Jandakot Airport precinct.
  • Advising a pro bono small business client in relation to retail leasing matters.
  • Assisting with preparing witness statements in relation to prosecutions undertaken on behalf of Australia’s corporate, financial services, stock market and consumer credit regulator.
  • Undertaking a secondment with a Western Australian motoring association to assist with a project to align their terms and conditions with new regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with the discovery process in relation to debt recovery proceedings by a solar energy parts importer/supplier before the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the Federal Court of Australia, including drafting subpoenas and affidavits.
