Megan Kitchen
Associate
Megan Kitchen is an associate in the Real Estate team focusing on infrastructure and construction, with a background in non-contentious construction and projects work. She has a wide range of experience acting for both public and private entities in a variety of sectors, including transport, renewable energy and commercial and residential development.
Megan advises in relation to both bespoke and standard forms of building contracts, along with associated consultant appointments, collateral warranties and security documents, including parent company guarantees and performance bonds.
- Acting for a commercial developer to provide full-service non-contentious construction support, including preparation of a suite of precedent design and build documents for the group company and negotiating the same in respect of large-scale development projects.
- Advising a rugby club on the development of a multimillion-pound clubhouse and pitches funded by HS2 following the acquisition of existing property.
- Providing advice to the lender in respect of a school’s PFI Scheme following a restructure of group companies, including advising and drafting the necessary contract documents and consents to facilitate the novation of the management services agreement.
- Advising local authorities on clean air and decarbonisation initiatives, most recently advising local authorities on Clean Air Charging Zones and associated commercial contracts for financial support schemes.
