Jeremy is a partner in our Financial Services Practice Group. He advises on a broad range of domestic and cross-border investment management, derivatives, debt finance and financial services matters for a client base that includes banks, building societies, mutuals, investment funds, pension trustees and corporates.

    Jeremy trained and qualified at a magic circle firm where he worked for over four years. Jeremy has completed client secondments to Drax Power’s treasury team and to The Norinchukin Bank, where he supported the treasury and compliance teams in particular.

    Treasury and Derivatives

    • Advising banks, building societies, pension trustees and corporates on derivatives and repurchase agreements and related documentation.
    • Advising banks and corporates on hedging provisions in facility and intercreditor agreements.
    • Advising on credit support documentation including Credit Support Annexes, guarantees and security agreements.
    • Advising financial counterparties, non-financial counterparties and non-EU entities in relation to compliance with the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR) and the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive/Regulation (MiFID2).


    • Advising on investment management agreements.
    • Advising on client money and custody agreements. 


    • Advising banks and borrowers on credit facility agreements and guarantee and security arrangements.
    • Advising on cash pooling and netting arrangements.
    • Providing netting enforceability opinions.


    • Advising Corporates on Corporate Power Purchase Agreements – virtual/synthetic model.
    • Advising on Renewable Energy Certificate Trading Agreements.
