Ladislav Murin’s practice focus is on restructuring and insolvency, financial services, commercial litigation and regulatory matters.
Ladislav’s experience includes representing and advising Czech and foreign creditors (financial institutions, suppliers, buyers, etc.) as creditors and insolvency petitioners in various insolvency proceedings commenced with Czech and foreign debtors and their representation in various insolvency-related court disputes. Ladislav’s experience also includes representing and advising creditors in complex debt restructuring deals and representing and advising Czech and foreign clients (insurance companies, investment funds, manufacturers, employers, etc.) in various domestic litigation disputes.
Ladislav has advised clients on a broad range of insolvency-related issues, such as the enforceability of close-out netting arrangements in the Czech Republic, debtor’s liability and an insolvency petitioner’s liability. Ladislav has also advised clients on a large range of regulatory issues, such as producer responsibility obligations, regulation of providing ATM services and waste collection regulation in the Czech Republic.
Ladislav is the co-author of the Commentary to the Insolvency Act (in Czech) and is a member of INSOL Europe.
