Marco Malesci is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group in the Milan office. He advises domestic and international clients on corporate and commercial law matters, with a particular focus on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, corporate governance and general corporate counselling.

    In particular, Marco has significant experience representing companies and private equity funds operating in the oil and gas, logistic, banking, manufacturing, real estate, renewable energy and healthcare sectors. He also counsels state-owned entities engaged in commercial transactions.

    • Advising a US private equity fund on the divestment of one of its portfolio companies that specialized in inspection and control systems for bottling and packaging.
    • Advising a German logistic group on the acquisition of an Italian forwarding company and its subsidiaries.
    • Advising an Italian private equity fund on several acquisitions of companies operating in the waste/renewable energy sector.
    • Advising an Italian state-owned company operating in the areas of deliveries and logistic sector on a joint venture with a German start-up.
    • Advising a Swiss company operating in the oil and gas sector on the negotiation of several agreements concerning the purchase of liquefied natural gas.
    • Advising an Italian primary bank on the sale of its entire portfolio of non-performing loans.
    • Advising the developers on a luxury hotel development project in Africa, including negotiation of equity financing from a US-based investment fund.
    • Advising a primary Italian pharmaceutical company on the acquisition of three ophthalmic products on the Spanish market from a multinational Swiss company.
