Patrick Morris’s practice focuses on internal investigations, government enforcement actions, and white collar defense. He has experience in defending clients under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) as well as conducting internal and government investigations for matters involving the Bank Secrecy Act and international economic sanctions.

    • Patrick’s experience includes matters regarding foreign sovereign immunity, employment investigations, and anti-money laundering. Patrick has also provided pro bono services on employment matters.
    • Patrick joined Squire Patton Boggs following graduation from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Patrick was an Articles and Notes Editor for the North Carolina Banking Institute Journal. Prior to law school, Patrick worked for two years at a Charlotte, NC-based retail mortgage lender, focusing primarily on mortgage origination.
