Rafael Mozo is a member of our Corporate Practice Group based in Madrid. He has experience in advising clients on a wide range of transactional matters with a particular focus on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions.

    Rafael’s finance experience include all kind of corporate and structured finance transactions, being specialized in project finance and acquisition finance.

    Rafael has relevant experience in advising major energy and infrastructure companies in the development, financing and construction of renewable energy projects worldwide.

    Prior to joining the firm, Rafael gained experience at a Spanish multinational corporation, the European Commission and other recognized international law firms.

    • Advising in the syndicated financing and in the project documents (such as the EPC and O&M agreements) of solar and wind energy projects in Spain, South Africa, Morocco and Israel.
    • Providing counsel to corporate clients in day-to-day matters including incorporation of legal entities, corporate compliance, board and general meeting regulations and shareholder agreements.
    • Advising in the refinancing and debt restructuring of corporate clients.
    • Advising in mergers and acquisitions procedures of both Spanish and international companies.
    • Advising in competition law procedures (antitrust and state aid) in the automotive and airport sectors.
