    Rachel works with her clients to provide succinct, commercial, technically sound legal advice and has written thought leadership articles for a number of industry publications including Estates Gazette and Legal Week.

    • Advising the funder on the initial financing and subsequent refinancing of a £100 million portfolio of build to rent assets comprising assets both under construction and already in operation.
    • Advising a UK institutional investor on its site assembly, joint venture arrangements and financing of two large build to rent and mixed use schemes.
    • Advising a private hospital developer on its group structuring, site acquisitions, financing, development and subsequent management of its hospitals, together with its agreements with ancillary operators such as care homes and dementia centres.
    • Advising a luxury retirement living developer and investor on its site acquisitions and disposals.
    • Advising a UK-based leisure developer on the structuring, financing, development and operation of large leisure and mixed use sites in London and China.
    • Advising infrastructure funds on the real estate aspects of numerous primary and secondary market projects in the UK.
    • Advising a consortium of high net worth overseas investors on their circa £290 million acquisition and funding of a central London “trophy” building.
    • Advising a US fund on its acquisition by way of a joint venture of a prominent London shopping centre and subsequent appointment as development manager for the proposed redevelopment of part of the property as a mixed use scheme.
    • Advising an Irish developer on its structuring, redevelopment and pre-letting of a London mixed use scheme including private residential, social housing and commercial elements.
    • Advising the developer on its leasehold acquisition and proposed redevelopment of a central London listed building into a five star luxury hotel, restaurants, spa and residential apartments.
    • Advising a number of institutional investors and developers on the acquisition, management and disposal of shopping centres, offices, industrial estates and retail and leisure parks.
    • Advising a major global financial derivatives broker on the relocation and fit out of its 104,000 square foot UK headquarters and outsourcing of its data centre.
