Andrew Parmentier is a senior policy advisor in the Public Policy Practice. He has more than 15 years of equity research and investment management experience focused on quantifying the impact regulatory and legislative actions have on public and private companies.

    Andrew is an experienced executive, and most recently he served as Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Head of Private Equity for a US$20 billion asset manager. Previously, Andrew co-founded and managed a privately held broker-dealer firm in Washington DC that provided research, investment banking and advisory services to institutional investors and corporations.

    He also built a first-of-its-kind policy analysis team within the equity research division of a capital market company.

    Earlier in his career, Andrew was Assistant Communications Director for the Financial Services Committee for the US House of Representatives, and Staff Assistant for then US House Majority Leader Richard Armey (R-TX).

    Andrew holds FINRA Securities Licenses: Series 7, 24, 63, 66 and 86.
