Leyla Parvizi
Associate
Leyla Parvizi is an associate in our Corporate Practice and is based in our Birmingham office.
Leyla has experience across a range of project work, including acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations and corporate governance and regulation.
- Advised various joint ventures of Hackman Capital Partners and Square Mile Capital Management on:
- The acquisition of Ardmore and Troy Studios (Ireland's two largest film studios)
- The £300 million acquisition of Eastbrook Studios, which will result in the construction of London's largest film and TV production centre
- An investment in Greystones Media Campus Limited, which, when developed, will be Ireland's largest studio complex
- Advised Rebound Technology Group on the sale of specialist electronics business Easby Group in a £24 million management buyout.
- Advised Altrad on its acquisition of Muehlhan’s oil and gas business in Denmark and in the UK.
- Advised MBS Equipment on its acquisition of the business of Teach Solais, Ireland's premium film and TV lighting and generator hire company.
- Advised on the acquisition by GracoRoberts of Silmid, a specialist distributor of chemical consumables used throughout aerospace.
- Advised on the acquisition by ARB Corporation of Auto Styling Truckman Group, the leading manufacturer and distributor of utility accessories in the UK.
- Advised Rcapital Partners on its investments in SchiChem and Archant (including advising on both exits), Redeem Group, Heat Exchange Group and Capital Cooling.
- Advised a Birmingham-based business on a reorganisation by way of a share for share exchange.
- Advised a global consultancy firm on the UK aspects of an international reorganisation.
- Advised on the sale of Lyndon Scaffolding plc to BrandSafway.
- Advised on the acquisition by DK Group Investments of the GE Doors group.
- Advised Dr Tony Xia on the sale of a majority interest in Aston Villa Football Club.
- Advised US Nasdaq-listed industrials group, Park-Ohio Holdings Corp, on the acquisition of DAX International Limited.
- Advised on the sale of a PR agency to a global marketing group.
- Advised a leading provider of community care and supported living on various acquisitions.
