It ranges from implementing strategic acquisitions and relationships, managing large-scale physician alignment strategies, and developing innovative governance structures, integration-oriented policies and procedures, to advising clients facing pending and suspected compliance issues and government enforcement actions.
His regulatory practice focuses on regulatory, compliance, licensing and managed care arrangements. He has extensive experience assisting clients with structuring shared-risk arrangements, developing and utilizing innovative payment methodologies, and compliance with applicable federal and state law. He also has experience handling pharmacy regulatory matters.
His transactional practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances in the healthcare and related industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Kinal was a legal fellow and staff attorney with a nonprofit multi-hospital system in Texas, where he worked with corporate and clinical leadership in a range of matters, such as system integration efforts, policy and procedure development, and physician contracting, including medical directorships and employment and recruitment agreements. He also worked previously in a national law firm in Houston.
