Pamela Payero-González is an associate in the Corporate Practice, where she represents corporate and institutional clients on matters such as merger and acquisition transactions, venture capital transactions, and institutional and private equity financing, as well as general corporate governance, and developing and executing complicated strategic plans of corporate reorganizations.

 

Prior to joining us, Pamela was a lawyer for an internationally known firm, where she specialized in advising entities regarding corporate governance, commercial and compliance regulatory matters. Pamela is also well versed in the preparation and adaptation of Anti-money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist financing (AML/CFT) programs and reviewing the adequacy of contracts and internal policies of regulated entities as it relates to the incorporation of national and foreign companies.

  • Assisting a multinational telecommunications company in registering as a telecommunications provider in the Dominican Republic.
  • Advising an economic group in the purchase of a securities broker and obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals.
  • Advising a credit and savings entity in the addition of new products and service.
  • Assisting foreign companies with the registration of food products at the Dominican Ministry of Health.
  • Participating in due diligence procedures for the acquisition of companies, real estate property and other assets in the country.
