Elizabeth Perris is an associate in our Real Estate Litigation team specialising in a broad range of contentious property matters.

    Elizabeth is experienced in advising on commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes and portfolio management, including commercial lease renewals, boundary disputes, breach of covenant and break clause matters.

    She also has experience in advising on land compensation matters, including compulsory purchase compensation claims and claims under Part 1 of the Land Compensation Act 1973.

    Elizabeth is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

    • Acting for several clients in the retail sector, including Signet Group (H. Samuel and Ernest Jones), YUM! Brands (KFC and Pizza Hut) and AG Retail Cards (Clinton Cards), in relation to contentious property issues affecting their nationwide portfolio.
    • Acting for a charitable body with a large commercial freehold property portfolio, specifically dealing with instigating and progressing lease renewals.
    • Advising several major UK airport operators (Manchester Airport Group, Birmingham Airport) in relation to the management of claims and in respect of their strategy for dealing with claims for compensation under Part 1 of the Land Compensation Act 1973.
