India Scarver focuses her practice on toxic tort litigation in federal and state courts. India also has experience representing clients in debt collection cases.
India has devoted a significant portion of her practice and time with us defending a major US chemical company in multidistrict litigation involving personal jury claims. India also dedicates her time to volunteer work at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus where she assists with debt collection cases.
While attending law school, India externed for Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor at the Supreme Court of Ohio and represented low-income individuals through the University of Cincinnati College of Law’s Domestic Violence and Civil Protection Order Clinic. India also served as editor-in-chief of The Freedom Center Journal, a multidisciplinary journal at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. India obtained a Masters of Arts in Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies in conjunction with her law degree and received the Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice Law School Service Award.
India is an active member of the Ohio Women’s Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.
