Anne Marie Schloemer (Prack) has broad experience defending clients in general litigation matters, with a particular emphasis in labor and employment and workers’ compensation.
Anne Marie defends employers in all general litigation claims, including claims of property damage, personal injury, wrongful death and breach of contract. She represents the largest utility locating company in the country and has experience working in all levels of the judicial system in 35+ states.
Anne Marie’s general litigation practice extends into labor and employment litigation, where she defends employers in matters of discrimination and wrongful termination. To decrease the risk of employment-related litigation, she also provides counsel to clients and makes recommendations to improve clients’ policies and procedures.
Related to her labor and employment practice, Anne Marie also specializes in workers’ compensation matters. She represents clients throughout the course of administrative proceedings and appeals to courts for medical allowances, as well as compensation disputes. She frequently works with clients in the construction and manufacturing industries, including the world’s largest manufacturer of polyethylene pipe products. She also has significant experience representing clients in the healthcare industry.
While attending law school at The Ohio State University, Anne Marie received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award and acted as a managing editor on the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. She also studied abroad for a summer at St. Anne’s College at the University of Oxford. During her time as an undergraduate at Syracuse University, Anne Marie spent a semester at the University of Wollongong in Australia studying politics in international media.
She is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations.
