Kate Selander’s practice focuses on corporate and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions, corporate governance, and securities law. She advises and represents both private and public companies across a wide variety of industries, including financial services, agribusiness and sporting goods.
    While at Ohio State, Kate served on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association.

    • Advising public and private companies on various corporate governance matters, legal compliance issues and industry best practices.
    • Counseling public companies in connection with SEC compliance and reporting, including advising on the preparation and filing of annual meeting materials and registration statements, as well as periodic and current reports.
    • Conducting legal due diligence in connection with various forms of M&A activity, including public and private mergers, asset acquisitions and stock purchases.
    • Representing and counseling public and private clients on general contract negotiation and analysis.
