Brianna Soltys is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation matters in federal and state courts. As a trusted advisor to businesses of all sizes, Brianna’s experience spans all phases of the litigation process, from legal research and discovery to motion practice and trial.

    Brianna obtained her J.D. from The Ohio State University, magna cum laude and Order of the Coif. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Baldwin Wallace University, summa cum laude.

    During law school, Brianna was involved in The Ohio State’s Program on Dispute Resolution, achieving both a Certificate in Dispute Resolution and serving as the Chief Online Editor of The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. As a research assistant to two professors, Brianna assisted in researching and drafting academic articles on civil procedure and arbitration law.

    Brianna previously served as an extern in the Ohio Solicitor General’s Office, where she assisted in drafting briefs to the Ohio Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Brianna also externed in the Civil Division of the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, where she focused on drafting critical trial motions, including motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment.

    Prior to joining the firm, Brianna served as a law clerk in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio for Judge Douglas R. Cole.
