Dominique Song is a principal in the Real Estate Practice and global Corporate Practice. In her real estate practice, Dominique advises real estate/fund sponsors, institutional investors, family offices, developers and lenders in all areas of commercial real estate, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, financings, developments, 1031 exchanges and real estate fund formation. Her expertise extends to all real estate asset classes, with an emphasis on multifamily and value-add strategies.
In her corporate M&A/PE practice, Dominique advises private equity funds, venture capital funds and other institutional investors and strategic acquirers on capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, early and late-stage investments, leveraged buyouts, management buyouts and secondary transactions.
Dominique previously served as general counsel for a real estate multifamily sponsor/operator with more than US$1 billion in assets under management, and was the CEO of the company’s private equity subsidiary. Before that, she headed a real estate private equity firm/fund manager with more than US$1.6 billion in assets under management, where she held leadership and P&L responsibility for its acquisitions, capital, investor relations and asset management teams.
Before receiving her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Dominique was an investment banking analyst with Goldman Sachs.
