Chris is an associate in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group, based in London.

    Chris has experience in a range of contentious and non-contentious commercial and intellectual property matters, advising clients in the media, entertainment, sports, gambling and advertising sectors.

    Chris has undertaken secondments at a leading commercial broadcaster and at one of Britain’s largest retailers.

    • Advising clients in various sectors on advertising campaigns, including the clearance of comparative adverts.
    • Drafting terms and conditions for new software as a service platforms created by various clients in the marketing sector.
    • Negotiating the terms of software licences as part of business purchase agreements and joint ventures.
    • Advising a ticketing services company on the terms of a mobile ticketing agreement.
    • Negotiating numerous co-branding and distribution arrangements on behalf of a large media organisation.
    • Advising a large, multinational retailer on the terms of a supply agreement.
    • Drafting and advising on terms and conditions for prize draws for clients in the sports and food industries.
    • Assisting with various contentious IP matters involving trade mark infringement, passing-off and copyright infringement.
    • Advising a multinational gambling service provider on the impact of draft legislation on their business model.
