David A. Stoops focuses his practice on corporate law, advising a broad range of businesses in various industries, from emerging growth technology companies to publically traded finance companies, in complex business transactions and general corporate compliance matters. David specializes in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, joint ventures, domestic and cross-border transactions, commercial contracts and other strategic transactions representing private equity funds, family offices and independent sponsors, in addition to private and public corporations.
David is a member of the Board of Directors of the GRYD Foundation, a nonprofit public-private partnership (PPP) with the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Gang Reduction and Youth Development, and has spoken as a guest lecturer on the topic of corporate law at the UCLA Anderson Venture Accelerator. Prior to law school, David was a product manager in the correspondent lending division of a large international bank.
