Richard Svocák has experience advising on a wide range of labour and employment matters, relating to employment affairs in multiple jurisdictions. This included assisting in setting up internal processes at fast-growing technology startups, terminations of employment, settlements, cross-border transfers of employees and negotiating with employees.
In regard to corporate transactions, Richard has experience in advising on corporate reorganisations, venture capital investments and divestments in respect of technology startups.
Richard also has ample experience in negotiating technology transactions involving the provision of Software as a Service (SaaS). In relation to this, Richard has experienced drafting and reviewing general terms and conditions of technology-focused companies, negotiating service-level agreements and data protection addendums.
With respect to financial services, Richard has experience with advising on internal processes in respect of AML and KYC requirements.
Besides this, Richard also has experience from the Big Four environment, where he was involved in multiple forensic due diligence reviews and preparation of expert reports for international arbitration proceedings.
