Evan Thomas is a senior associate in the Corporate Practice Group, where he focuses on the representation of corporate and institutional clients on matters such as merger and acquisition transactions, venture capital transactions, institutional and private equity financing and securities offerings and reporting, as well as general corporate governance, including developing and executing complicated strategic plans of corporate reorganizations.

Prior to joining the firm, Evan was an associate at a top-tier transatlantic law firm, where he represented portfolio managers and investment banks in public and private offerings, including securitizations in addition to corporate clients pursuing merger and acquisition transactions. Evan has experience in representing founders and sellers of operating companies, private equity buyers and minority investors across a variety of corporate transaction structures, industry sectors and deal sizes.

Previously, Evan was an associate at a global firm in which he focused his practice on representing issuers and underwriters in securities offerings in the international debt and equity capital markets, while advising on large, international, and complex offerings. Evan has also worked for major international financial institutions and a large institutional endowment, and is well-versed in analyzing hedge fund and private equity investment strategies and trends.
