Markéta Topinková’s primary focus is in the areas of real estate, corporate finance, corporate law and public procurement. She joined the firm in 2008 after working at a major Prague-based law firm for three years.

During her legal career, she has also gained experience in litigation and arbitration. As the Czech Republic Life Sciences coordinator for the firm, Markéta helps clients with her knowledge and experience in providing legal services to companies in this sector, including, in particular, advising in connection with clinical trials and public procurement. Markéta advises both Czech Republic-based and international clients on real estate acquisitions, greenfield and brownfield development, corporate acquisition and restructuring matters, as well as public tenderers and bidders in the area of public contracting. She is able to fully support the clients throughout the entire life cycle of the development projects, from architectonic contest until warrants claims matters. Various projects helped Markéta to develop unique legal, business and market knowledge.

Of particular importance is her recent engagement in commenting on the New Construction Act and proposals for its changes, including her active involvement in the Association for Development of the Real Estate Market (ARTN), in particular in the Construction Law working group, and within the Real Estate Council of AmCham Czech Republic.
