Phillip Turner is an associate in the Financial Services Practice. He represents financial institutions and other entities in a variety of corporate and commercial financing-related matters. He focuses his practice on commercial and structured finance, including representing creditors and borrowers in the negotiation, documentation and management of both secured and unsecured single-bank and syndicated credit facilities. He has assisted on deals across a broad range of industries, domestically and cross-border, in areas of asset-based lending, acquisition financing, equipment leasing and private equity.

    During law school, Phillip served as a legal counselor for Lawyers for Human Rights in South Africa, where he advised stateless individuals in Sub-Saharan Africa regarding the granting of legal statehood and citizenship. In addition, as a student, Phillip practiced in law clinics of both transactional and litigious natures in a variety of subjects.
