Callum Twigger is an associate in the Corporate Practice who advises on consumer law, franchising arrangements, mergers and acquisitions, financings, commercial contracts and other corporate transactions. Callum has worked extensively with clients in the automotive industry and mining sector.
Callum advises on the Australian Consumer Law, the Franchising Code of Conduct, and numerous other contractual and statutory issues arising in respect of both the consumer and wholesale automotive vehicle industries. Callum has spent over a year seconded on a part-time basis with a major consolidated vehicle dealership group.
Additionally, Callum has previously worked on a range of mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings including initial public offerings (IPOs), debt and insolvency transactions and commercial agreements. He also advises on corporate governance and regulatory matters, including in relation to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and compliance with the ASX Listing Rules.
In addition to working in private practice, Callum’s previous roles include a managerial role at a private corporate finance advisory firm working on a range of transactions for the mining sector, and prior to that, as a journalist and editor for newspapers, websites and magazines.
